I just caught Joe Jackson's "Is She Really Going Out With Him?" on VH1's 1979 special - I don't think I ever actually listened to it before. It's a pretty catchy tune.

You never really listened to this before? Makes me wonder what you were doing in 1979. The comedian Gallagher pretty much ruined this for me with his list of unanswered questions: 1) Why do they put locks on the doors of 7-11 when they're open 24 hours a day? 2) Where do contractors go when the job's half done? 3) Why is it a pair of panties but only one bra? 4) Does Joe Jackson HAVE to appear in his videos?
I don't think my three-year old self would have fully appreciated it back in 1979.
I almost accused you of being too young to appreciate it then, but since I really didn't know, I decided not to assume.
