In case you haven’t heard yet, this morning Al Gore announced that Washington, DC has been added as a host city for this Saturday's worldwide series of Live Earth concerts. The concert will be on the Mall, and will include country singers Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood. Looks like Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have a little competition this weekend… [thanks, Melissa]

Live Earth Comes To DC

So, will traffic be worse than usual, or will you even be able to tell?
nobody is in compitition with anyone. Faith said during her part of their concert that they could not be with the "live earth" concert because of their other commitment, but she said please help with global warming and turn off your lights, of course she means when you don't need them. it also helps to buy florescent lights saves energy. and recycle.
