The other week, I heard Garrison Starr and Adrianne (from The Rescues) cover a song called “Broken Headlights” by Joey Ryan, with one guitar and two voices. I had never heard of Joey Ryan before, but it was a gorgeous song, and it immediately transported me to the West Coast. Here’s Joey Young performing “Broken Headlights” live with Sara Bareilles (who I *have* heard of) and a couple others jumping in on vocals.
