Heartbreak Station

I was browsing the bargain bin at CD Warehouse yesterday, and I came upon Cinderella’s Heartbreak Station, the group’s infamous “country” album. Now for $3.99, I couldn’t pass it up, having recently read about it a little bit ago over on Ickmusic. I’ve listened to the first half so far, but the songs don’t seem to be on par with the tracks from Night Songs and Long Cold Winter. Still, “Shelter Me” has got some swagger, and I could easily hold up a lighter for “Heartbreak Station.”
