Evan Taubenfeld, the former guitarist for and collaborator with Avril Lavigne, now fronts his own band, The Black List Club. It’s pretty good harder-edged pop rock with a tinge of angst thrown in for good measure. Anyway, I haven’t been able to find anything of theirs to download except Evan's acoustic demo. It’s still pretty damn catchy, in the vein of Dashboard Confessional and more heartfelt Butch Walker. You can go stream a few Black List Club tunes from their upcoming CD on their MySpace page here. You can look on the forum (www.blacklistclub.com/forum) under the media section and probably find some more downloads. I got Evan's solo album off there.
