Yeah, I'll admit it. I'm actually kinda excited about the new Transformers movie. I just can't help it - it's the freaking Transformers! Anyway, Maxim has got a feature comparing the Generation 1 Transformers toys to the new Transformers toys. Check it here.

That's how I feel about:
- the new movie
- the new toys
- the fact that you like them
- the fact that you are interested in the movie.
Just think - Bumblebee could have been my new car's first cousin. The new Bumblebee is some redneck bastage my new car would never associate with.
Megatron has always been saddled with that unfortunate pistol transformation, but of all the alternate forms he's had, this one is damn ugly.
Oh, and the Michael Bay factor scares the hell out of me.
I'm sorry - but I like that Megatron transformed into a bad-ass gun. Only a truly powerful bad guy would transform into something that pedestrian seeming - but he was the only one that transformed into an actual weapon!
I will continue with my mantra of WRONG!
Megatron transformed into something utterly useless that could not even operate by itself - it required another Transformer to make it work! How unself-sufficient! Especially for the "leader" of the Decepticons!
