My favorite album of 2006? The Damnwells' Air Stereo. Now I knew they had an album that they released before Air Stereo, but I was kind of hesitant to buy it, afraid that it would somehow spoil my unvarnished opinion of them. Well, I finally gave in and bought Bastards of the Beat, and I'm digging some more tasty triumphant rock...MP3: Kiss Catastrophe - The Damnwells

Thanks for the tunes. I got hooked ever since I heard "I Am a Leaver" over at "I Am Fuel, You Are Friends." Never heard the earlier album though.
100% top notch music, but worth the $$$ for the album art alone. A must buy.
It was quite informative, too - when I was reading the liner notes, I noticed that one of the songs mentioned the Moorestown Mall, a New Jersey mall - which made me realize that these guys must have some Jersey roots!
