I realized I had never actually seen the live Angie Aparo/Faith Hill duet performance of "Cry," so here it is. It's pretty cool. I still like Angie's solo version better than Faith's.

There are so many things wrong with this, starting with her completely fake opening statements where she actually reverses what would actually have been said here. She says "I can't believe I'm singing with Angie Aparo" like he's a megastar. Uh, yeah. We're buying that. Second, she could have at least let him lead sing a line or two. And third, they shouldn't have had another backup singer involved in this. It was pretty, but I would have done it differently, obviously!
True... nothing beats the original!
it didn't seem to bother him and he felt great being with her. you can see that. she is a great singer and they sound great together. I just read that he will appear with her during her and her husbands soul2soul2007 tour. he feels honored to sing with her just as she feels that way about him.
