Used CD Stores In Arlington/D.C.?
Yeah, I know, these days most people are buying a lot of their music online. But I still enjoy a nice leisurely trip to the used CD shop every so often. It gives me a chance to trade in CDs I don’t want or I’m tired of, and then I get to browse around and spend the resulting store credit. The trouble is, my favorite store, Tunes, is back in New Jersey, and I still haven’t found a store that I like here in the Arlington/D.C. area. Can anyone recommend a cool place?

Locally, my favorite place is the CD Cellar on Wilson -- I've blogged about it a few times.
I haven't been into DC on a CD run in a while -- I used to like Kemp Mill Music off of Dupont (even if it was corporate), though that's long gone. DC CD in Adams-Morgan was good if it's still around. If it's not, I'm sure others have replaced it.
The Sound Garden in Fells Point, Baltimore is great, though I don't get up there very often.
My all-time favorite is probably Sounds on St. Marks in NYC -- picked up a few good finds in their 88-cent bin...

I was talking about my fav place evar _just_ last night. Wonder if it's still there. But surely if it was you would have mentioned it? The place in Arlington right on the main drag really close to the metro stop your album photog was from? The crazyish guy with huge beard and no shoes who had like 1,000,000 LP's and a database of their location within his store in his BRAIN.
Come home more often.
