Roethlisberger Injured In Motorcycle Accident

From Fox Sports...

Steelers
quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was badly injured in a motorcycle crash Monday morning and set for surgery.

"Roethlisberger was in serious but stable condition in an operating room," said Dr. Larry Jones, chief of trauma at Mercy Hospital. Jones spoke before going into surgery.

Motorcycles can be an unforgiving business, and I really hope the guy is OK.

I hope that the Steelers business people were smart enough to have some clause in his contract that voided any payouts for engaging in dangerous behavior that jeopardized his physical condition and ability to play. I mean, really. How stupid is he to put his greatest asset (his physical being) at such risk.

I feel no sympathy. He brought this on himself.

I wish no ill upon Mr. Roethlisberger.

However, he's riding around without a helmet and like brett said, a moron.

And I am very pleased that the Cleveland Browns chances of winning the division dramatically increased with his injuries. ...

and by that, I mean they increased from 1 percent to 2 percent.

speaking of the browns and motorcycles, is K-Winslow 2 slated to play at all this year?

Winslow should be ready by the start of the regular season. Braylon Edwards, however, is still recovering from his ACL/MCL tear and could miss the first two months.
