As a seventh-grader, or thereabouts, I was convinced that third baseman Scott Coolbaugh was going to be the next Mike Schmidt.
I purchased no less than 100 off his Donruss "Rated Rookie" cards and awaited their meteoric rise in value.
Last I heard, that cat was pumping gas somewhere in Oklahoma.
haw!! Scott Coolbaugh, the Texas third baseman! he probably stuck around in his AAA town of Oklahoma City...
