The Notwist are from Germany. But no, their songs are not in German. Anyway, they put out some strangely haunting and warm electronic music, incorporating a vast array of sounds and instruments - though the bleeps and blips do get a tad loud sometimes. I got into them last fall and bought that album. Definitely worth the $25.
Consequence is probably my favourite but the whole album has a really neat vibe to it.
