All right kids, the Six Points Music Festival gets underway tomorrow night. I'll be out hosting the Silver Spring Austin Grill show (how I get there, I still don't know) for an evening of some old-school blues with the headliner, Sol.

a host? i get to stand around, martini in hand, looking sophisticated, greeting guests. in reality, guess i'm there to see how everything goes.
To get to the Austin Grill, take the Red Line to Silver Spring. Leave the Metro station, and walk east on Colesville Rd over to the Austin Grill.
Unless you are driving, in which case you take the beltway to the Georgia Ave. exit; follow Georgia Ave to the Austin Grill. Or I guess you could cut through DC - and follow Georgia Ave all the way up to Silver Spring.
If the show wasn't at 9pm, and I didn't have SCUBA lessons that started at 9am the next morning, I would totally just have stayed at work a bit late and walked over to the show (I work in the tallest of those four big buildings right next to the train tracks and the Metro station) I can almost see the Austin Grill from my bosses' corner office window.
