Slight Return

I’m back, folks. I’m massively jetlagging, but I’m back. I hope you had fun discussing the finer points of Keanu while I was gone.

Anyway, the flights out to and back from SD were long and a bit rough, but at least I got a couple of books read (The Kite Runner and My Friend Leonard). Now though it was clear and 70 degrees here in DC, once again I brought crazy weather with me to Cali – thunderstorms that dropped out of nowhere, and it wasn’t quite 70 degrees.

But there were still some good times, hanging out with friends at the wedding, eating a bunch of Indian food, dancing to some cool music. And
CC (her pic above) and I got some sight-seeing in, too, checking out Coronado Island, the Gaslamp District, San Diego Zoo, and Balboa Park. Pics to follow...

"Kite Runner"? That's a chick book. Might as well read "Middlesex" next...We need to get you back on a steady diet of Tom Clancy and Jon Grisham. Cliche?...yes. But chick books?...no.
