Bill Deasy

I had wanted to buy Bill Deasy’s CD, Good Day No Rain, for a while, and I finally got around to it. And I’m very glad I did, because it’s one of the best CDs I’ve heard in a long time. The music jumps right off of the disc and grabs you with full arrangements, catchy hooks, vocals, and lyrics that make you want to listen.

Vocally, he sounds a bit like a cross between
Matthew Ryan and David Gray. And this album is exactly the kind of album I had wanted Matthew Ryan to make after East Autumn Grin - something melodic, triumphant, and rocking. Good Day No Rain is strong from start to finish, but here’s a couple tracks for y’all:

MP3: I Want To Know - Bill Deasy
MP3: In My Head - Bill Deasy

Hey didn't he write a song for Martina McBride?
