Oprah Feels "Really Duped"

the big O had James Frey, the much-maligned author of "A Million Little Pieces," on her show Thursday to confront him about the many claims that his book isn't exactly a "true story."

as i stated in this blog before, the book is a riveting, amazing read, whether it's fiction or non-fiction. though it does disappoint me that things claimed to be true may really not be.

Memoir usually means truthful..he should of either been truthful or catagorized it as non-fiction..or is it fiction..i get so confused..

Wonder if he would of made all that cash if he hadn't duped the big O..

somebody told me today that James Frey originially tried to sell the book as a work of fiction, and nobody bit on it. but as a true memoir, the book was hot property...
