One More

i was surfing the web last night, and i discovered that Music Monthly did indeed review the CD that my last band, Last Second Comeback, produced. and it's not a bad review, either, which is always nice...

from Music Monthly....
A fresh musical voice has emerged in Arlington, Virginia in the form of the band Last Second Comeback. On their debut album, Cornered, Last Second Comeback unveils their unique sound that is comprised of acoustic guitars, electric lead guitar, hand drums and vocals – making for a very unique folk rock sound. Last Second Comeback is the work of Jeff Campagna (lead vocals, rhythm guitars, and keyboards), Pete Paraschos (acoustic and electric lead guitar) and Chris Lythgoe (hand percussion). Last Second Comeback is part of a movement in the region to bring acoustic-based folk rock back to the attention of the public, and along with Luz Gruv (formerly Disband) and other likeminded bands, they are creating some really compelling music. To accurately capture and record the eclectic sound of the band, the guys enlisted the help of producer Philip Stevenson at Scary Clown Studios in Bethesda, Maryland and the result is excellent. Cornered is both haunting and poignant, filled with some songs that are somber and reflective, while others are light and groove-oriented. In a time when success in the music industry is found most easily by following a proven formula, it’s definitely nice to see that people are still trying to come up with their own thing….
