time for some new mp3s for your listening pleasure. is there an underlying theme to my selections? no. or perhaps the fact that there's no underlying theme is a theme itself. anyway... Matt Nathanson? he's hittin' the 9:30 club very shortly (thanx to CC for getting me a ticket) - he's one of my fave live acts, and plus the last time i saw him he did a kick-ass cover of "Jessie's Girl." Rhett Akins? i just can't resist this rollicking country number with a chorus you'll be singing the rest of the day. House of Pain's "Jump Around?" i think that speaks for itself. Motley Crue? i've liked them ever since i first heard them being blasted from the back of the middle school bus. and Butchie Walker is comin' to the Black Cat in November, as i mentioned previously. he rocks.
