Fresh Out Of Philly
i just heard of Pawnshop Roses today - i was checking out Iron Mike Holden's pictures of the Dewey Beach music festival, and i saw some of this philly-based band. being a big Marah fan, i couldn't resist checking 'em out. they've got a jangly rock sound, and like Marah, they've got some quality vox (a bit Chris Robinson-esque). anyway, i'm really digging their song "Goodbye Sara K." definitely take a listen.

Pawnshop Roses were awesome at the Dewey Beach Music Fest this weekend. Justin Jones told me to check them out and it was a great recommendation because their energy was awesome. Like 30 seconds into their set it was as if a freight train had just coming rolling through. Here are the pictures Jeff is referring to.
